How It Works:
Our IoT-based garbage monitoring system operates by continuously measuring the fill levels of garbage bins using ultrasonic sensors. The data collected is processed by the ESP32 microcontroller and displayed on the 16×2 LCD screen. Simultaneously, the ESP32 sends this data to the ThingSpeak IoT platform via Wi-Fi. This setup enables remote monitoring, alerting waste management teams when bins are full and need to be emptied.
