Return and Warranty Policy
High Tech Electronics (HTE) stands behind the quality of the industrial solutions we provide. To ensure the operational continuity of our clients, we have established the following guidelines for returns and claims.
1. General Policy Overview
Due to the technical nature of our products (Industrial Machinery, Generators, Textile Equipment), returns are generally categorized into two types: Spare Parts Returns and Equipment Warranty Claims.
2. Spare Parts Returns
If you have purchased spare parts or consumables, you may request a return within 7 days of delivery under the following conditions:
- Incorrect Part: The part delivered does not match the invoice or the technical specifications ordered.
- Manufacturing Defect: The part is found to be defective prior to installation.
- Condition: Items must be in original, unopened packaging. Parts that have been installed, used, or altered are not eligible for return.
3. Industrial Equipment & Machinery
Heavy machinery (Generators, Boilers, Textile Machines) is not eligible for return once installation or commissioning has begun.
- Defective Machinery: If a machine is non-functional upon arrival, HTE will provide immediate technical repair, replacement of the defective component, or a full unit replacement at our discretion, governed by the manufacturer’s global warranty.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom-ordered machinery or parts manufactured to specific client blueprints.
- Electrical components (Sensors, PLCs, Circuit Boards) if the anti-static packaging has been opened.
- Items purchased during a “Clearance” or “As-Is” sale.
5. Return Process (RMA)
No returns will be accepted without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- Request: Fill out the Return Form on our website or contact your HTE Account Manager.
- Verification: Our technical team will review the request within 48 hours.
- Shipping: Once approved, the item must be shipped back to our Dhaka Service Center. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to an HTE error.
- Inspection: Upon receipt, our engineers will inspect the item.
6. Restocking Fees
A 15% restocking fee may apply to returns that are not due to manufacturer defect or HTE error. This covers the cost of technical re-testing and repackaging.
7. Refunds & Credits
Approved returns will be processed as:
- Credit Note: Applied to your HTE account for future purchases (preferred for B2B).
- Replacement: Direct exchange for the correct/functional part.
- Refund: Bank transfer within 10-15 business days if a replacement is unavailable.
